Based on the difficult living conditions experienced by the displaced in the northeastern regions of Syria, the organization launched the Bazaar project to support the displaced in Tal al-Samen camp to help them secure continuous and steady livelihoods by providing vocational training in the four professions of sewing, dressmaking, haircut and hairdressing. These activities are scheduled to last for three months.
The overall context of the project provides the opportunity for 24 displaced young people of both genders, who reside in the most vulnerable environments such as camps, specifically Tal al-Samen camp in the northern countryside of al-Raqqa, to participate in the training workshops in the determined professions with the aim of reintegrating them into the labor market in line with the plan to provide technical and professional support for them. The project includes supporting a number of the participants with tools and equipment that enable them to practice new professions, whether inside or outside the camp, with the aim of securing steady sources of income for them and for their families, and reducing their dependence on humanitarian aid.
The project aims in particular to establish vocational training spaces in Tal al-Samen camp in the countryside of al-Raqqa, in order to ensure that the participants receive training on a continuous basis and to enable their skills and experiences in the specified professions and to reintegrate them into the labor market.
