Al-Salhabiyah Al-Sharqiyah Preparatory School was established about 20 years ago in the eastern village of Salhabiyah, about 20km west of Raqqa city. According to the 2004 census, the population is about 1,800, and the number of students in the school reaches 150. “Me and my School” project targeted Al-Salhabiyah Al-Sharqiyah after surveying the devastation caused by the war, as its ranks were partially destroyed and its benches and blackboards crashed,  negatively affecting the proper functioning of the educational process and creating a non-stimulating environment for education.

The project  of “Me and my School” provided 23 benches to replace the shattered ones in the classrooms, the teacher’s chair and desk were replaced and the blackboard was maintained and a stationery and chalk set was provided, and the school was equipped with a children’s entertainment set, a billboard and a cleaning kit, as well as 3 trash baskets and garbage cans.
